New Beginning Counseling ministry is a faith-based ministry and as such will pray with and for clients, use the Bible as the foundation of counseling and will encourage personal devotions.

Michael is a licensed Pastoral Counselor who holds a Master level degree in Clinical Christian Counseling from Cornerstone University through the National Christian Counselors Association. Michael has been counseling since 2010 and is passionate about working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction recovery, marital reconciliation and restoring and personal growth. He also works with parents and spouses who have loved ones as addicts. Drawing from his training, insights from God’s word, and his own personal experiences, he is equipped to help guide people to healing and strength leading to a life of freedom and peace.

 Michael’s hope and desire is for everyone to enjoy the abundant life Christ came to give each of us.

Michael's been married for 36 years, has an adult son and is a proud grandfather to his beautiful granddaughter.  He enjoys running, hiking, mountain climbing and camping in his spare time.
